1800 property ownership map files, [ca. 1935].

Copies of deeds and notes on deeds which were filed in Queens County Register's Office between 1690 and 1870. Series compiled to create a map of ownership of property in Queens as of 1800. Each file in series is assigned a number which corresponds to a location on the 1800 map compiled at Topographical Bureau. Each file provides an abstract or description of land involved and notes where information can be found. Extracts from deeds often included, with dates of conveyance and filing noted. Also included are files for a similar map of ownership as of 1700 which was never drawn.
